Jeans, old shirts or almost any garment can be converted into an attractive and functional item. In this workshop the focus will be on denim (please bring old but clean clothes to use or share) to create bags. Other trousers or skirts could be used as long as the fabric is fairly firm, such as canvas or corduroy. Also bring along shirts or blouses in fine fabric for use as lining or in decoration. You will need a sewing machine each so please let me know if you need to borrow one.
